NETWORK4 GROUP TO BROADCAST ATP TOUR EVENTS FROM 2024

ATP Media, the broadcast arm of the ATP Tour, and Network4 Media Group have agreed that the media company will broadcast ATP Tour events and the Nitto ATP Finals in Hungary for three years from 1 January 2024 until 31 December 2026. Viewers will thus be able to watch the matches of the biggest male stars of the tennis world on Network4 sports channels (ARENA4, MATCH4), as well as on the NET4+ streaming service.

Hungarian viewers will not miss the most exciting moments from the premier global men’s tennis Tour. Network4 Media Group has secured the exclusive rights to the ATP Tour in Hungary, which means that the ATP Masters 1000, ATP 500, ATP 250 tournaments and the season ending Nitto ATP Finals with the top eight singles players and top eight doubles teams competing, and the Next Gen ATP Finals, will be brought to viewers by Network4.

The tournaments on the ATP Tour bring together the world’s best men’s tennis players. These tournaments feature such stars as Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Daniil Medvedev, Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Holger Rune and the two Hungarian top100 players, Márton Fucsovics and Fábián Marozsán.

Every match from every tournament will be broadcast live on NET4+, while the semifinals and finals will also be accessible to Hungarian fans via MATCH4 and ARENA4 sports television channels.

Under the terms of the agreement, the brightest stars of men’s world tennis will entertain the fans on Network4 from 1 January 2024 until 31 December 2026, for three full years. The WTA Tour has already been available to tennis fans on the Network4 Group platforms, but the arrival of the ATP Tour will add the world-class men’s game to the package.

Mark Webster, CEO of ATP Media: “We are delighted to have reached agreement with Network4 to be our partner in Hungary. Our two organizations share many of the same values of striving for excellence and innovation and so we look forward to working together. The ATP Tour is blessed with significant amounts of high quality live content and the Network 4 channels and Net4+streaming service are the perfect outlets to ensure as many matches as possible are available to be seen in Hungary.”

András Borsány-Gyenes, President of Luxembourg-based Network4 Media Group: “Network4 boasts exclusive sports broadcasting rights, setting it apart in the Hungarian market. The new agreement is genuinely one of our media company’s crown jewels, with the ATP Tour being watched by millions worldwide, and its main players considered among the most significant stars in the world of sports. We take great pride in providing a platform for the top European football leagues, the NFL, the NHL, American motor sports, Superbike and MotoGP, as well as men’s and women’s tennis.”
